The WZ micro-perforated plate silencer features a dual-chamber structure. It offers a broad absorption frequency range, exhibiting a relatively flat attenuation curve across various frequency bands. It delivers high overall noise reduction—particularly demonstrating a pronounced silencing effect in the low-frequency range—and outperforms impedance-type composite silencers that utilize fibrous sound-absorbing materials.
The connecting flanges for this series of silencers are sized in accordance with national standard specifications for ventilation ducts (square, rectangular, and circular), forming a comprehensive, compatible product series. The standard effective length is typically 2000 mm; however, units can also be manufactured to meet specific user requirements. Depending on the required level of noise attenuation, multiple sections may be connected in series. For optimal performance, the airflow velocity within the silencer should generally not exceed 15 m/s.
