The mixed-flow fan is a novel type of fan that bridges the gap between axial-flow and centrifugal fans. It combines the high-pressure capabilities of centrifugal fans with the high-airflow volume of axial-flow fans, offering characteristics such as high efficiency, significant energy savings, low noise levels, and ease of installation. The fan primarily consists of an impeller, a casing, an inlet collector, guide vanes, and an electric motor. The impeller features twisted flat blades welded to a hub, designed to provide meridional acceleration characteristics. Having undergone rigorous dynamic balancing and over-speed testing, the impeller demonstrates excellent aerodynamic performance. The casing features a circular design and is integrated into a single unit with an air collector that incorporates noise-dampening functions. The outlet is equipped with guide vanes, ensuring excellent airflow distribution and stable pressure. Mixed-flow fans are widely employed for ventilation and air exchange in tunnels, underground parking garages, civil buildings, metallurgical facilities, industrial plants, and mining sites.
