The sidewall fan features forward-swept blades and utilizes a direct-drive mechanism powered by a low-noise, specialized external-rotor or internal-rotor motor. Its square housing design allows for convenient installation on concrete walls, brick walls, or profiled light-steel wall panels; the square rain hood is structurally robust and aesthetically pleasing. Characterized by low noise levels, high airflow volume, reliable operation, a wide range of performance parameters, and ease of installation, this fan is widely employed for sidewall ventilation and air exchange in industrial workshops, mines, and various civil and commercial building projects. Depending on the specific requirements of the conveyed medium, the unit can be manufactured in corrosion-resistant or explosion-proof configurations.
Sidewall fans are typically used for sidewall exhaust applications and are equipped with a 45° rain hood (or specially manufactured with a 60° angle) and an insect screen (to prevent insects from flying into the workshop at night, attracted by interior lighting). Upon request, the unit can also be manufactured as a sidewall supply fan—designated as model DWSP (WSP)—which is equipped with a 90° rain hood (providing protection against wind, rain, and dust) and an insect screen (to prevent insects from flying into the workshop at night, attracted by interior lighting).
