The plate-type smoke exhaust outlet is typically installed within the suspended ceiling of corridors, on walls, or within smoke-proof anterooms; it may also be mounted directly at the terminal end of the smoke exhaust duct. In the event of a fire, smoke detectors transmit an alarm signal; the control center then supplies a 24V DC electrical signal to the remote control mechanism. This signal activates an internal electromagnet within the mechanism, releasing a steel cable. Driven by the torsional spring force within the valve body, the valve opens automatically—or may be opened manually—to facilitate smoke extraction.
Product Functions:
1. Normally closed; opens upon receiving a 24V DC electrical signal from the control center.
2. Supports remote manual opening.
3. Supports remote manual resetting.
4. Outputs an opening status signal to interlock with and control associated equipment.
