Multi-blade smoke exhaust vents are typically installed on the side walls of corridors or within the smoke exhaust systems of windowless rooms; under normal conditions, they remain closed. In the event of a fire, smoke detectors transmit an alarm signal to the control center, which then supplies a 24V DC current to the vent's control mechanism, causing the vent to open rapidly to facilitate smoke extraction. The vent can also be opened manually via remote control and manually reset remotely. (The distinction between Type I and Type II models is identical to that of the PYK-3 series.) The configuration (A+250) × B corresponds to Type I, while A × (B+250) corresponds to Type II; in both cases, the aluminum alloy blades of the air vent are oriented parallel to dimension A.
**Performance Features of Remote-Controlled Multi-Blade Smoke Exhaust Vents**
1) Opens upon receiving a 24V DC ± 2.4V electrical signal.
2) Supports remote manual opening.
3) Supports remote manual resetting.
4) Outputs an electrical signal indicating that the vent is open.
5) Can be interlocked with other equipment in accordance with user requirements.
