For hinged return air grilles, an openable filter screen can be installed behind the louvers; to clean the filter, one simply needs to open the assembly and slide it out, eliminating the need to dismantle the entire louvered return air grille.
The hinged air grille assembly comprises an outer frame, hinges, and a louver panel. The hinges are attached to the lower edge of the outer frame, establishing a movable connection between the louver panel and the frame. Sound-absorbing cotton is installed within the interior of the outer frame, while a filter screen is positioned on one side of the louver panel. This filter screen is secured to the louver panel via a series of fixing teeth attached to its edge. An electric push rod is mounted on one side of the outer frame, serving to connect the frame to the louver panel. Furthermore, roller shafts are rotatably attached to both ends of the louver panel. A control mechanism is situated at the lower edge of the outer frame, and mounting holes are provided along all four sides of the frame.
